HA, here I am again, with a bang... again. (of course refering to my hilarious title)



Today Im feeling really alone because everyone I know is at a freaking cadet camp... even the girls! (i know right?)

so Im doing what every reasonable person does at a time of desperation when they just need to feel loved... HITTIN THE INTERNET!



I Find myself in this pickle because I'm a quitter, i quit cadets so now Im stuck at home, it may seem like maybe I should have continued cadets from this last statement but you have to realise.... I'm very lazy

This is actually starting to affect (effect? whats the difference?) me in a very detrimental fashion.

I'm finding that I no longer have the energy to do alot of the things i used to, for example, i haven't read in ages! Whereas i used to read like a book a day. All that cod4 has finally done it, I have lost my attention span. Im pretty sure thats a bad thing, yet i dont really care as much as you think i might. Does this mean that I am so lazy, that i no longer care that I am lazy, i sure hope so, because caring would be a major buzz kill.

thats actually the same reason why i dont post, my laziness.
However i have recently had the ephifany that it truly is quality over quantity, and that I really dont have to push for a deadline or anything like that... however i dont really have the quality either.
So pretty much my 1, no wait... 2 fans are screwed

After a 3 week drought im back again. And I was all worked up to talk to you guys about Valve, and how upset I am at their attitude towards the console market, but my mother just told me "When I was your age, I was cooking dinner for my parents"
This got me VERY upset...
So I started thinking, Things have changed, things are changing, and the amount of work that is done by the adverage (white) person has, and is decreasing rapidly. But is this a good thing or a bad thing? this is how i look at it:
Our Parents Worked through their childhood, supposedly enjoyed themselves. However, us Gen Ysies do jack all, partake in alot of leasurely activities and we bitch... All the time. Our Parents have good jobs and are hard workers, they are supposedly happy. We are (or at least I am)constantly being harrased to do small loads of school work. This is my question to you, if a childhood is training for later life. Are we having a better childhood than our parents?
Now, I know I may not be making sense, this actually does sound ok in my head
Well, what really started this train of thought was when my mother said that to me, and I thought if things never changed, there would be no womens rights, she would be a stay-at-home mom, not a dentist, and she wouldnt be asking me to pack the dishwasher because she would have already done it while I was at school....
Wow, I just realised... I am so lazy, that I appose Womens rights

Its time for your old friend Sean to hit you with some solid knowledge.
About 6 months ago, its spoke to you cats about yours truly maybe writing some game reviews on this site in my spare time.
Well at the moment, my time is pretty spare so i decided to stay true to my promise and give you a view from the top of the leaderboards, down at the games that made me great. Dont worry, im just kidding, I can possibly be that arrogant... Can I?
Those of you who know me best know that I aspire to be a games journo. Now this is a dream I've had for some time, and it makes me sick, when people assume I only want to do this so i can play games. To those sorry excuses for human beings, you could not be further from the truth!
This is something that I want to do because what journalists do, essentially is relay their opinions, and since that is something I love doing, and most of my opinions are about the games of video, this is an obvious carrer path for me.. right?
Well, Its time for me to start with the games... this week, fallout 3!

What First drew me towards Fallout 3 was the small logo on the bottom right hand side of the case that reads "Bethesda Studios"
This of course, made me froth at the mouth and I instantly coughed up the nessesary $100 and bought the bad boy. allright, Im not going to say that's the only reason I bought it. The numerous "Game of the Year" awards helped a little. But lets not dwell on that, the important part was that it was made by the creators of Oblivion, and trying a gamemade by those masterminds was definately worth $100, to me anyway...
once I Put the game in my Xbox, I was gobsmacked as my newly created character was litereally shot out of a uterus! Not even kidding! what an amazing way to start a game, I was almost ready to eject the game, put it on my wall and frame it for the ages.
but no... I had to close my gaping mouth and keep playing, what followed were your standard character creation tools(brilliantly presented of course), name selector, and all that stuff.
Once that had finished, the game shot forward in time a few years and learning to move in the game was like taking your first steps IRL.... These people are geniuses!
Enough about the start of the game, lets talk aboot the game play, i know as a review, i should be trying my hardest to use lots of big words and shooting off long sentences that can be summed up in one word, but I'm going to skip the middle man and just sum it up in one word:

FUCKING AWESOME (thats one word and anyone who disagrees is the anti-christ)

It could be my laziness and that could have something to do with the fact that I'm not getting paid for this. But writing alot about it just seems unnecesary, just take my (one) word for it and accept that even though the V.A.T.S body part targeting system is different to what you are used to... It has never ceased to bow my mind, and I'm sure it will blow your mind also.

The world that Bethesda has created is so brilliant, and so real, it is impossible to not get immersed in the post apocalyptic world that has been made with such care and detail that it is honestly, very difficult to find a flaw in. (trust me, I tried)
The People have realistic reactions, the enemies have perfect levels of difficulty, the quests have been consruced so that the player always cares about the story...
No matter what you want in a game, action, story, time waster, amazing graphics, total immersion, whatever... Fallout 3 has you covered, a must buy for anybody... anywhere.


Well, there you have it, the first proper tPoP (the pains of pwnage, also makes a great acronym, whod a thunk it?) Review, hope you enjoy, and depending on the feedback, expect to see more of them, maybe next time I wont do a game I adore.

As for music time, I havent been really listening to much lately, so really just refer to the last 2. I wll say one thing however, If your over 18 and reading this + live in sydney, go to V fest.. you've got The Killers, The Kaiser Chiefs, whats not to love. I only say this because I cant go... do it for me =(

PS. My one beef with fallout 3, why cant i play after the credits? I had to start a new game... sucks

I got busy and i just.... Wait a minute, I wasn't busy, just lazy. I should totally stop saying that I'll post the next day, i really should do this as more of a weekly thing... so I will.

I guess the reason I dont post so often is because everytime i think of something to write here, i always forget it when push comes to shove and i have to write it down. Damn my bad memory!

After spending a fair amount of my holidays playing Fallout 3, I think I'm finally understanding this "gaming addiction" thing. For a while there, I had reached a point where I practically lived inside of that game, all i thought about was fallout, and by the end of the game, I was fairly sure I would excell in a nuclear fallout.... maybe.

This is almost as bad a my Oblivion addiction, Those Bethesda guys really know how to make an addictive RPG.

NOw this is a short post, and unfortunately, most of my newer posts will be... hey, im not that interesting.

Not only am I back to my blogging roots, but i take comfort in the fact that i came back with a bang, a f*cking HILARIOUS bang! Seriously, i consider myself a better person now that I have heard, and retold that nacho cheese joke.

Well back to the matter at hand: The time has come for me to rant, and none of this piss weak ranting you find on OTHER blogs. The rants that I will give to you will be like a waterfall of whinging on you, ill dump the niagra falls of bitchiness all over your asses.

For those of you who were attending Arden Anglican School(primary or secondary)might remember how a boy spoke of how much he loathed the nerd population in his school. the speech was great, it even won a public speaking award or two. after he gave this speech on how he hated nerds, he rather hipocritically went home to play Star Wars battlefront on his Playstation.

To cut a long story short, the Boy that vowed to never become a nerd and insulted those that were now spends his days playing Halo and writing blogs... can you guess who it was

Its funny how things change over time, yet not at all, I'm the same person I was 4 years ago, yet Im apparently different in some way, im classified differently by peers, i feel less confident and I spend all night on forums, somthing happened and apparently im different... eh, I dont F*king know

Last blog 4 a while

umm. ok, I will be typing this pretty fast so ignore my spelling mistakes and please dont paste them into ur own blog 2 show people that mine is bad... I know that its bad.

sooo, I havn't posted in a little while, so... im sorry 4 that, but at the same time... who really cares. although, saying that, i should probably make this 1 count...

lets start, whats really annoying me right now is jack, i dont care aboot (thats right... aboot) ur blog and please stop caring about mine.

another thing thats annoying me is my voice... I am noticing now just how much I stutter and how nazally my voice is, especially when I sing. now, I understand that this is just puberty but Singing is just something I cant do anymore, I used to be able to hit a whole range of notes, but now its liek I just cant do it... I can sing the low, and the ridiculously high, but the middle is just not there, I try to hit them and I sound like a banshee... honest to god, a banshee.

what else is annoying me... nothing, but thats just because I'm a nice person who is slow to anger... some more of my fantastic, completely true features are my small stomach and high iq...

neway, I feel that I should write about something important going on in society, so here it is...
My purchase of Gears of war...
last saturday, I bought Gears of War, it was a wonderful, magical moment, and the memory of Marc taking the final copy will haunt me forever, but its OK, i wnt 2 JB, and they were out o stock, so i went 2 DJ's, and it was $100 there, no way was I going 2 pay that much. So, in the end, I got a catalouge from JB, then took it 2 DJ's and bought it 4 $44.

ok, ok, it has been a slow week or too, but is not liek there is all that much 2 do neway.
